CT9.17 Problem?

I downloaded CT9.17 this morning and decided to play with it during lunch.  
When I hit "ALT-M", CT does bring up the multipliers list, but I can't get
back out of this.  Hitting "M" does seem to put me back into logging mode,
but the screen still shows the multipliers list!  The only way out is to 
quit and restart.
