Is there an up-to-date MASTERDX.DTA on the BBS? Could it be placed
at either of the ftp sites (gatekeeper.dec.com:/pub/misc/hamradio or
maspar.maspar.com:pub/k2mm/ct-files)?
We used FT-890s with CT 9.13 at YK0A, using the Yaesu Interface box.
It worked fine, no delays (even on a slow 386SX-20). Be sure you
are saying
COMTSR2 -b4800
and that your SETUP window also says 4800 (I think this is the default
Yaesu baud rate). Power-on sequence also seemed a little touchy.
Interface box first, then rig, then PC, worked best, as I recall.
