dvp problems

A few thoughts....

When you invoke the DVPTSR, if you listen carefully, you'll hear the small
relays on the DVP board engage. Once I hadn't seated it properly and that
was an easy fix.

Given the symptoms you describe though, it sounds as though the board is
functioning properly, but it's not getting any audio from your mike.
Would suggest checking the cables. I bought the K1EA cable and even though
it was built fairly well, it could've been done a bit better, and has
occasionally needed repair.

One last idea is to check and see if you have any other adapter cards in
your pc that could be using the same interrupt (7) or base address (308h).
Some possibilities of cards that could be using 308H are SCSI adapters,
network cards, sound cards. Remove them (and their drivers) one at a time
and see if that licks the problem.
