One thing that I have noticed with CT and the FT-990 is that if
the radio is on VFO B CT will not read the frequency correctly. As soon as
you switch back to VFO A everything is ok. I don't remember if I have
observed this on the 1000 but it may have a bearing on what folks are seeing
with the 1000MP.
