[ct-user] Reminder messages in CT?

Is there any way to create a file that will flash reminders at the bottom
of the screen - in the area just below the logging line?

What I would like to do is to flash reminders at certain GMT times, like
"Check 20m Long Path".
While I could do something with schedule box, it isn't an elegant solution.
