Ken has placed a beta test of 9.37 on the registered users' web site:

This version should be compable with ARRL FD 1998 rules.  It should also
fix the LSB problem when CT is used with ICOM IC-756 in phone contests
(I'll be checking this myself later).

I have attached the release notes.  Please direct all inquiries to the

73 - Jim AD1C

* fixed a 8 year old bug in CQ160 reporting. The mode listed in th .ALL file
  was shown as CW, even in the SSB contest. (tnx N2LQQ)

* CT no longer polls Kenwood radios will PTT is asserted. Some Kenwoods
  stutter on CW during RS232 activity. (tnx VK4EMM)

* There are two new text commands POINTRATE and QSORATE. POINTRATE displays 
  rates in points over the last 10 minutes or hour. QSORATE is the rate for 
  the last 10 or 100 QSOs. (tnx CT1BOH)

* After a band change via typing in a frequency, the announce window now 
  follows properly. (tnx KV1W)

* Writelog nows produces .CON file in WPX test (tnx OH2XX)

* Changes for Field Day

  1. Removed packet bonus
  2. Removed VHF bonus
  3. Added band change (QSY OK) checking, set to 15 minutes.
     If a violation occurs, the time field is highlighed in red.
  4. QSO's allowed on 160 through 24 gHz. Didn't have room for the
     LIGHT(laser) band.
  5. Three modes per band.
