hi dave,

> Has anyone ever had this problem with a DVP?

yes!! it happened to me with CT9.37, but not with 9.26. i have the
k1ea dvp board, and have never had ANY trouble of any kind with it
until this!

i found that "pre-recorded" messages had this problem, but not
"current messages." what i mean is this:

run CT9.37, and record all of your dvp messages. quit ct and go have
a cup of tea. restart ct and hit one of the f-keys to replay a
message = garbage! mine wasn't white noise, but more like a very
loose connection somewhere. but, if i re-recorded the message(s),
they would play flawlessly UNTIL i quit CT. then when i returned to
CT and tried to replay them... formerly good messages were trashed.

i don't think it's faulty-hardware related, because when i returned
to CT9.26, everything is fine! also not RF induced, because i can
recreate the effects without ever turning the transmitter on!

does anyone have a cure?

cu in SS, both modes!
