The going back to the run frequency is something you need to correct when
you're operating.
I have gotten into the habit of resetting the run frequency by tapping
Alt-F5 after selecting a new run frequency.
If you don't do this, CT doesn't "know" that you're running on the new freq
and the results you observed will occur. This can drive you nuts because
you probably don't remember your run freq.
The behavior of your radio is another issue.
CT9.39 worked perfectly for us with packet, a DVP, and TS850 rig control.
The mouse disappeared after 36 hours or so, but it was not a problem.
