You should always load ANSI.SYS in your CONFIG.SYS file. CT tries to call it
to manipulate screen settings. I have located a 765 to borrow this weekend
and expect to get to the bottom of this by Sunday night.

Hello,
This probably is of no help to anyone, but for the record:

1. The "ICOM" crashes described by Rick, W1TY and Hans, K0HB also happen
with my
OMNI-VI whether CT is set up to think the radio is an OMNI-VI or as a
IC-781 (which I started doing a long time ago and never bothered to change).

2. Of course this only happens when the COMTSR program is running.
Otherwise CT seems to work OK. In that case, when I shut down the program,
the screen is left saying:
"ANSI.SYS must be installed to perform requested function
        CT Terminated"
and, as the program closes, the OMNI is keyed up for one very short CW
"dit".

See you in CW SS. 73!
