Actually, the ARRL does not *REQUIRE* the new format yet. However, I'll
bet they DESIRE logs in the Cabrillo format NOW, in order to test/debug the
log checking software. The ARRL *will* require the new format starting
some time next year. In the interim, they are accepting the ARRL standard
format like they always have.
