Hi Fred and Everyone Else Who is Losing Radio Control During the Contest,

1. Was a reboot of CT insufficient?
2. Is a unload/reload cycle of the COMTSR's insufficient? My best guess is
that the COMTSR is hung.
3. Are you using K1TTT's ethernet stuff?
4. When you lose control, can you still send a frequency to the radio, but
lose the ability to receive info from the radio?
5. Has anyone lost radio control using the Windows character mode version?

I am very concerned about this. If you have had trouble with radios losing
touch, please send me a description of your setup, batch files for starting
CT.

Thanks - Ken

Band map or no band map, my radio (Icom 765) and computer stop
communicating from time to time during contests. Rebooting is the
answer. At least the computer is faster now. In the old days I could
eat a full meal during the reboot (real bonus really). Bad part, as
noted below, is that the spots disappear.
