Bill,

If you start a new log, you can select the mode. You can't change the mode
after the fact.

I cannot get CT to go into SSB mode with CT9.49, CT9.50 or CT9.51.
It comes up into CW no matter what I select upon initialization.
I have a CT.CFG file with SSB in it. I have also tried it without a
CT.CFG - same problem.

Using CT9.46 or CT9.26 it works fine. - All I did was overwrite CT.EXE
and tested all 5 .EXEs (9.26, 9.46, 9.49, 9.50, 9.51)

The symptom appeared as my IC-781 being put into CW mode upon each band
change, yet I had selected SSB as the mode in CT.
Also, the CW speed (ALT V) window appeared, yet SSB mode was selected.

I notice in the RELEASE9.TXT for CT9.49 that there was a change to the
mode in that version to: CW, SSB. Mixed. Did that introduce a bug? I
tried all three of these modes. They all bring CT into CW mode in 9.49,
9.50, 9.51.

My environment:

IC-781 with radio control on COM3 @ 9600 bps
P-200MMX PC, WIN 98 booted to F8 and selecting "Command Prompt Only"
(The only way I run CT, BTW).
DVP

I have been using this configuration since 1997, and other similar
configurations since 1991. Using CT since 1988.

TNX!!
