The F7 data (usually cl?) appears in the country entry field because I
had to move things around in the header of the .BIN file to add the
country.

Just type over it and go on. I probably should have warned everybody
about this minor incompatibility.

Today I had the time and energy to download the 2 most current versions.
I'm
sure glad I didn't attempt to use either during the contest.
CTWIN 9.7: It's broke right at the startup screen. I loaded in my 10
meter
bin file and on the country line of the startup screen it had the text
from
my F6 CW key.
CT 9.7: It's also broke at the startup screen but differently. It didn't
load my cfg file or the bin file from the contest. I always run CT
inside
windows
(no grief please) and after pressing <ctrl + enter> from the startup
screen
it crashed.
So in an attempt to see why it didn't run I re-booted to DOS. The
program
started and
appeared to run OK. When I pressed <alt X> and exited a problem
appeared.
Prior to the usual line "CT Terminated" was the indicator something was
wrong. There was an extra line: "Bad command or filename".
Sorry Ken, I think I'll keep using 9.65.
