Hi all.
First of all I would like to say that I'm new to the list.
During this weekend contest I found a problem while running CT on a XP
dos window (as a full screen); after about 2 hours in the contest I
found out that the CT clock was not displaying the correct time, it was
running slow white compared to the click in Windows, so the QSOs were
not been entered at the real time, the clock runs slow while running CT
on XP; I try several options for running DOS applications under XP,
including the different emulations and none worked, so I had to restart
the system with a booting DOS diskette, and not running XP, when I did
this the problem disappeared and the CT clock started working properly.
I have been using CT for many years under win 95, 98, 98 SE and ME
without this problem.
Since I'm new to the list I don't know if this problem has been
reported, but I'm writing this to help other prevent this problem,
because in may case I discovered the problem after the first few QSOs
since I was on 80 meters, but isn't nice to fiend out after 1000 or 2000
QSOs that the times in your log are not the correct one, so I hope this
will help others.
