USB to Serial adapter. I have not tested it for sending CW since I send CW
via the parallel port.

Subject: [ct-user] XP and USB

I just bought a bargain Dell laptop PC. I knew it would come with Win XP but
was told that the latest version(s) of CT WIN would run OK.

What I didn't envision was that the laptop would lack both a serial and
parallel port. It has three USB ports. I don't do computer control of the
radio (an old TS930S) but can't live without CT sending CW. I've spent all
day asking around, and looking at CT-User archives, and there doesn't seem
to be a work-around.

Spending any more money, other than for perhaps a cable, is not an option.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for any help,
