I'll be setting up CT in DosEMU on my Linux laptop with the
$_hogthreshold set to 1000 which allowed good CW sending performance
last year, up to about 30 WPM. Since we run 1A the GOTA stuff is
academic and I keep try of the bonus points manually.
For us FD is as much a radio campout as a radio activity. We really
try to give the inexperienced ops a chance to learn and feel
comfortable on HF.
