Actually, I do remember that post.  It was specifically for the original DOS 
based CT, though, not CTWin.
 
Obviously someone (presumably Ken) felt that the time had come that there was 
no longer a need for the K1EA site.  And I understand that.
 
Clearly, though, if that was the case, no one felt an announcement was 
neccesary.  And considering that it's been down for weeks if not months, and no 
one has said a word about it on this reflector until now... it was the right 
call.
 
And, clearly, the time has come to investigate alternatives.  Whidh I already 
started to do, but that's another story.

Yes, the web site (http://www.k1ea.com) seems to be gone, but not
forgotten. Much of the content has been archived by the Wayback Machine
(Internet archive), here

time the site was updated was May 28, 2014.
