Dave,

I'm pretty sure this works.  Have your friend check his EQUIPMENT CONTROL
PANEL - he may have both RADIO#1 and RADIO#2 checked, however only the
computerized radio should be checked.  This allows the band and mode of the
non-computerized radio to be manually set from the keyboard.
