I used NA 10.57 in IARU. I was using SO2R with the DX Doubler, 1000MP, and
1000 Mk V. I found a number of bugs that were repeatable:
- NA crashes when you turn off a radio, or disconnect FT1000MP CAT cable. I
would have to reboot the machine to get NA up again.
- In IARU, when you space/tab to the ZONE field, cursor is dropped AFTER the
zone. If you need to change zone, or enter a HQ station, you need to
backspace to overwrite (did I do something incorrectly?) I would assume
that the cursor should be under the first character in the zone field, and
be in the overwrite mode.
- Is there an IARU HQ mult list that should be loaded? Every HQ mult had to
be verified as a valid since it wasn't recognized by NA, which was kind of a
pain.
- With NA set for mult-mode in the IARU, when you toggle through modes via
CTL-F1, it allows you to go into FM, FSK, etc. Shouldn't modes be limited
to CW and SSB?
- When you change bands, and if the first QSO you enter happens to be a
dupe, it doesn't alert you that it's a dupe when you hit the space bar. I
duped a number of QSOs as a result (I wasn't using check partial).
