[RFI] htx2 computer phone line rfi

Hi just purchased a radio shack htx-242 2mtr rig for packet to replace a
very old kdk 2015.
Found significant noise on many frequencies which disapeared when
computer turned off. LaTER
found that removing the internet connection to phone line would
eleminate the problem. Have tried the
toroids on the phone line and htx power connection to 13.8v. this
problem is not seen with the oldewr kdk. Any ideas? Tnx Art
