Have we lost sight of the reason we are having this discussion? What effect does the *radio* have on *automobile* electronics? How the radio is grounded may indeed have an effect on where radio supply current (and if we mess up, RF) shows up in and around the engine and passenger compartments. This can be a factor in where and how we connect the radio to automobile power.
