Ford does not make a plug in filter for that.

I don't think that motor uses pulse width modulation for speed control so you shouldn't have any problem fashioning up a filter for it.

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4 pickup. The fan for the
climate control system puts out quite a bit of electrical
noise on MW/HF which I would like to clean-up. Near
as I can tell, the fan is just a standard +12V squirrel
cage blower. I am wondering if Ford makes a "plug on"
EMI filter for this, or am I going to need cut wires and
splice in my own filter?

Thanks,
