There is an AMAZING difference in Plasma and LCDs TVs regarding total power 
drawn and idle current. A large plasma might draw less than a small LCD. This

onto your electricity bill. Especially in CA, we think about that a 
lot, where graduated rates rise to 0.35/kWh for half of the year!

Amen to that !! Thais the primary reason (along with the RFI problem) we did 
not buy a plasma set.
