Politics aside (please), the original answer to the original question is
that over-the-air DTV is less susceptible to RFI. AND, if the digital
stream gets corrupted, the TV display goes blank and the audio goes
silent. There is no distorted audio or torn picture that "Joe Public"
has come to identify with ham radio interference. Nothing in cadence
with dahdidahdit dahdahdidah. He will simply think that the aim of his
antenna needs tweaking. Of course you should help your neighbor obtain
the strongest signal possible because then it is even harder for you to
