I have not tried to wrap wire around the plug wires. However, I was successful
using 1 inch flat braid Strap stock...(the stuff many people use for grounding
strap).... if you compress it and open it up (like a Chinese Handcuff) it opens
to about 2 inches inside diameter, big enough to slip over the plug wires and
sockets..... to determine the needed length, stretch it so its diameter
decreases, and cut to the length of the plug wire plus a couple inches...once
you have it pulled over the plug sockets, stretch it back to cover the entire
wire length.... .if you solder a ground lead on it first, you can collect all
the leads and ground to the engine block

KU4B is suppressed ignition
noise on his truck by wrapping wires around the spark plug wires then....It
sure looks easier than any other method of shielding.
