During a visit to W2GPS this afternoon, we happened to discuss my 160 meter RFI 
problem.  Rick remembered that he's seen nearly identical RFI on 160 meters at 
his QTH (30 miles from here) for several years.  Like my RFI, his covers the 
frequency range from 1600 to 2000 kHz with three strong spectral peaks in the 
160 meter band.  The spectral peaks are at 57.5 kHz intervals.

I can provide a .wav file of the AM detector output of a receiver and a .jpg 
file of the 200 kHz wide signal spectrum of the RFI in the 160 meter band to 
anyone interested.
