Hi Steve,

Gosh, I don't know if there's ANY RFI remedy for those insidious touch-control
switches, short of---literally---pulling the plug on them before you operate!

Unfortunately, that is NOT an option for you---but it certainly was for me
here, when my son installed under-the-counter touch-control lamps for us in our
kitchen...

...Now every time I key the rig (even with QRP) the lights do a complete
automatic "tour" of low-medium-high with each character...and if THAT wasn't
bad enough, they GENERATE as much RFI into my rig, as my rig does to them.

My solution...? I unplug the ^^%$^&# things before entering my shack.

Have you considered writing a detailed letter of your travails to the
manufacturer of that TV set...? It's certainly a long shot, but it might prove
interesting to know what the company's engineering / public relations people
might have to say on the issue...after all, what if some poor unsuspecting
owner of a TV like that was to have the mis-fortune of living next to police
dispatching centre / cell phone tower / commercial BC antenna...?

Dealing with a single Ham operator is one thing---dealing with a commercial /
public safety organization is quite another.
