Hello Tim,
Thanks for the info. Nice field test :-)
I thought I had a problema in the mast, maybe not straight and doing bad in
the crapodine, but I don´t think so.
Yesterday was a windy day and it rotate full 360 degreed without problem.
Will se next time with the guy up in the tower if he can see something wrong
Thanks,
Jorge

Asunto: RE: [RFI] RT-21 rotor controller RF problem
Hello Jorge:
I have 22 RT-21 controllers at my station. We have never had RFI problems -
either to the RT-21 or RFI from it - with full 6 bands of multi transmitters
in operation.
You may have a problem with your rotor on your tower (which is why the RT-21
operated in fail safe mode), not the RT-21.

Subject: [RFI] RT-21 rotor controller RF problem
Hello,
Last weekend during WPX contest I had a problem when turning my rotor with
the Green Herron RT-21 controller.
It have a feature that start slowly (4 of 10 level) till it reach the full
rotation speed (10 of 10).
When I wanted to turn with the ?point and shut knob? to the right, it start
at 4, 5, 6 and didn´t reach the 10 level, it stopped turning. This didn´t
happens when I turn to the left.
So in the contest sometimes I needed to use the CW button to rotate it to
the right instead the ?point and shut knob?
Absolutely no winds that cause it to stop.
Today I went to the station and the rotor worked 100% to the left and to the
right, so now I am thinking it´s a RFI problem during WPX contest
Any idea how to solve the RT-21 RFI problem?
Thanks,
Jorge
