Occasionally there is a problem with RFI via house wiring.

I requested info via Walmart a while back re. the Belkin
BE112230-08 SurgeMaster Professional 12-Outlets Surge Protector vs
an Inland12-Outlet 330V SurgeGuard Rotating Surge Protector.
The answer arrived today (2mos, 3weeks later).

"Belkin model is 500V clamping; 3940 joules; 150KHz-100MHz. Attenuation
up to 75 dB."

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Belkin-BE112230-08-SurgeMaster-Professional-12-Outlets-Surge-Protector/13073630

This compares to "Inland 4320 Joules 12-Outlet 330V SurgeGuard
Rotating Surge Protector EMI/RFI Noise filter rating -
Frequency 150KHz-100MHz. Attenuation up to 58 dB"

Based on this data is the Belkin a good idea in a Ham residence to
limit RFI getting from one group of devices to another via the AC
wiring?
