That "swooshing sound" has gone for now and think it was a computer PS or
other device someone had on in the neighborhood, 24/7.
The other "pulsing sound" is definitely some type of OTHR which is prevalent
on the 12m band. I verified this with another amateur up the street as he
heard the same thing. Coming from around 60° or so. Maybe other stns on the
east coast can hear it !
