I think Dale's message was not the futility of mending one problem but
the shear plethora of problems in a town or city. No one argues about
the functioning of the process. The problem is that if you want to
get fixes on 10 RFI sources, you have to follow the process for each
one which can take time. Meanwhile, all the average consumer has to
do to pile on to your RFI is shop at Best Buy and bring a new plasma
TV home.

I am also plagued with more than one plasma TV with one significant
and others more in the background. Frankly the best and most
expeditious solution is to buy the TV by giving the neighbors enough
money to get a new one, on one condition, that the new one be anything
but another plasma TV.

Amazingly, this often doesn't work. There is a minority of viewers,
often men, who deliberately chose a plasma TV on the belief that it
has the best picture quality for watching sports. They won't accept a
substitute.
