It was the guy who invented APRS - WB4APR - who had a fully-tricked out
solar-powered Prius mobile he used to bring to hamfests. He might be a

optically decouple the trailer light signaling (I'd
use battery powered LED brake & signal lights)?
I'm hoping that the strong field of RFI would not
extend 4-6' to the rear of the Prius (it's not in
the driveway at the moment so I cannot test that).
