Dave,
Below are links to various list messages that I found regard "Lennox furnace
RFI" I thought Trane had the most problems but now I retreat from that
position. Although problems can and do occur in all furnaces, it seems the
component that comprises most of the complaints is the variable speed induction
motor. I have three HVAC systems here, 2 are Trane and 1 is a Carrier. Both
Trane Systems WERE quiet for a number of years. The newest one, the XV95, was
installed in 2008. I have isolated noise from both units. The noise from the
oldest Trane is tolerable. The XV95 is intolerable in the winter when the
furnace is being used. RFI is definitely present when the AC is running but its
intensity varies. The oldest of the three, the Carrier, was installed in 2000
and is still very quiet. It does not have the variable speed motors.

The above is a fix for the G71MPP
There is a similar kit for the Trane XV95. Success rate for this one varies.
