On a whim I spun the dial and I hear several OTHR signals from about
6900-7000 at 0420Z. I'm also hearing what sounds like a cricket chirp on
6870 and 6880 and a couple other places around there. There is also
continuous STANAG on 6910, with another "cricket" on 6920 and more STANAG on
6980 which is usually confused with OTHR and can run up to hours as a time.
A radio issue prevents me from tuning in better than 10 KHz increments, so
the readings aren't exact, but good enough for what I'm describing.
Can someone listen to these "crickets" and tell me what you think. I've
never heard this before. Oddly, it sounds nearly identical to a wireless
keyboard on 27.145 MHz, but I can assure you, there is no such device
anywhere near where I am at this time.
