Check out Fair-Rite p/n 2631814002. It's a BIIG toroid. Weil suited to this application.  I just did a group purchase of 150 pieces for our contesting club. Cost in that quantity was $13.57 each.

Yes, one of these cores right at the point where the cable leaves the machine would be the way to go. BUT -- FIRST, contact the vendor and ask him to either fix it or come and get it.

Well, it turns out that the new Bosch dishwasher (see link below) is quite noisy on HF. It looks like I can wind choke on the A/C supply and tuck it under the unit without interfering with anything. The choke would be right at the supply line hookup on the dishwasher.

I'd rather not wrap the 3 wire Romex directly around a ferrite ring so I'll have to get cable better suited for this purpose. I seem to recall a commercial A/C choke with the appropriate connections inside an enclosure. That might be a safer approach.

Any suggestions?
