Mike,
If that were to happen then you could kiss all support goodbye until a
court action forced a vendor to act... Be careful what you wish for...
In VE land, a VE friend leads me to believe that there is NO RFI support
by the government at all, nothing, zip, Nada, zilch! I am also told by
that same friend that if you have an RFI issue, you take it to civil
court on your dime, and hope you win...
Again, be careful what you wish for...
Slow and steady... That should be our course...

Based on my personal experience I have to completely disagree with the
comments about solar edge.
I have found solar edge to be completely unresponsive, completely
ineffective, and generally uncaring about the major amounts of rfi being
generated all across the country by their products.
As for a solar edge engineer being several months late; hint - their not
coming.
In my interference issue, solar city is the owner operator of the
system, not the home owner.
At least solar edge was polite and professional in communications unlike
solar city's rude, personality offensive, asshole (it takes a lot of
abuse to get me to use that word publicly) approach.
I believe all solar edge systems need to be shut down and only brought
back online when each system is proven to not cause interference.
I think we need a class action law suit.
I am coming up on my 3rd year of basically being wiped of the air!

Ed,
I agree completely! Thank you for the reminder! Solar Edge is
treating
the Amateur community very well here. Sending out engineers is far
beyond what most other companies are doing.

that the device is an unintentional emitter and as such, subject to

If the noise being conducted onto the AC mains is below the
limits, radiated noise below 30 MHz is legal unless it causes
harmful interference. If it does, it is the responsibility of the
actual operator of the device to resolve the harmful interference.
The manufacturer is required only to meet authorization
requirements, test the design in a lab environment, have ongoing
production meet the limits as found in lab testing and to label the
equipment.

that if every manufacturer of products responded to complaints with
full cooperation and even site visits by their engineers, we'd all
be pretty delighted, so keep this in mind if you have any need to
work with Solar Edge.

I've been experiencing from my neighbors Solar Edge installation.
Solar Edge installed RFI suppression a few weeks ago which
unfortunately did little to reduce the level of interference. The
companies field engineer will be flying out to inspect the work the
installers did in the next week or two.
