Are there photographs of a properly installed SolarEdge optimizer, including the twisted wiring and ferrite installation ?

Would it be worthwhile to use a drone to, ahem, spy, on the installers, while they are working, to make sure they get it right ? Or afterwards, to pinpoint the mistakes ? Seems like it shouldn't take more than one revisit to get it right.

If you still have RFI after SolarEdge has been out to do their wire twisting
and ferrite installation procedure, I suspect they may have missed one or
more of the optimizers (DC to DC converters). Even a single SolarEdge
optimizer can radiate strong RFI if not well filtered with ferrites on the
wires. Call them back to fix it right. I had a neighbor 150 feet away and
it took four visits before they finally made the system quiet. They even
admitted that previous technicians missed a few panels. So, at least the
good news is they can be fixed. The bad news is you have to keep after them
until they do and also the endless addition of new SolarEdge systems that
continue to be installed all around us.

All:

It's obvious that solar panel RFI comes from the devices within the system,
so why not take a look at those components and propose a solution to the
manufacturer?

There's lots of RF design talent on this reflector and I suspect there's an
idea or two that could either reduce or eliminate RFI without having the
manufacturer retool the assembly line.

Stopping the RFI at the source is better than discovering your neighbor has
noisy solar panels and then waiting for legal action to be taken by the FCC,
if at all.

For those wondering how bad solar panel noise can be: my neighbors system is
150 feet away from my tower and the noise is 10db over S-9.
That's AFTER the chokes were applied to the system.
