Yes, I have been watching at startup, using HDSDR, and I can tell you
that the waterfall lines for each of the signals are absolutely straight
from the first second. I'd say drift is less than 10 Hz.
I'm getting the W7IUV preamp kit instead of the DX Engineering unit,
mainly because of cost (a usual problem with DXE, unfortunately). I
figure an hour of my time...

No DF capability yet on HF, but If I go a mile or so away from my
QTH, it is not audible on a decent portable SW receiver. Tried
yesterday to quasi-DF it, walking the neighborhood using signal
strength, but with inconclusive results. It begins every morning
at 0900:02 local time, and continues well after sunset, both of
which tend to suggest it is on some sort of timer.
