Looking at the triple ceramic dead end insulator that came off the pole, the
first two insulators were white where the third was brown. Looking at the
two white ones, on each of the two the material around the metal bolt going
through the center had noticeable cracks.
The triple insulators are probably from the early to mid 60's when the
development was built.
Noise floor on 40 right now is S4 to S5 (-117). No hint of powerline noise.
