Thanks, Jeff - I went looking at my local Home Depot yesterday and could
not find any of the Feit units I was looking for - 7.5" recessed.
Brought home a similar 6" from Commercial Electric thinking to try it,
but after reading the fine print on the power supply block I decided
against -  it is 115V in, 20-48 volts out, which seems certain to
involve active electronics, even though the weight suggests a transformer.

Try the FEIT brand.  I've got a lot of those around the house here
(2x2 flush mount ceiling panels and a ton of the individual bulbs) and
have not had an issue with them.  My primary towers are 300'+ from the
house but on 12m the beam is about 20' away and the bands are quiet
from a LED standpoint.
Now tracking down all the SPS-containing gadgets that the family drags
in from time to time is another matter.  But when I need a light, the
FEIT are the ones I use.

Although no longer available where I got them, I have a dozen of

Subject: [RFI] LED ceiling lights
I'm launching into a basement remodeling, getting rid of a suspended
ceiling with old-style fluorescents.  I had previously replaced a
number of the tubes with LED units, and did not notice any increase
in my noise floor with lights on.  I'm now contemplating a wallboard
ceiling with a number (maybe a dozen) small  (~6 inch) LED lights.
Has anyone had specific experience with these and can recommend (or
recommend against) specific models from an RFI perspective.
