Jim, thanks for the note.  Unfortunately, it would be a major project to 
open up this 65" TV after removing it from its mount to check for the 
pin 1 problem.  The only cables connected to the TV are the HDMI and 
power cables, both loaded with ferrite that did not help.  My only real 
choice seems to be living with the RFI that was new with the LG.    Jim
