Think I may have an idea for the old vs new call. I've written a VB program which decodes the "Hamcall CDROM" files, and lets me pick and choose which parameters in the entire file I want to keep. One file I have is just the call letters. So, I'm about to order a new Hamcall, I can decode it, and if the AA5AU file is in ASCII format, can strip away any call (US) not currently assigned. 73 Ed |
