Ummmm... I thought Courtney said that the Rascal keyed the radio EVEN WHEN
IT (the Rascal) WAS DISCONNECTED FROM THE PC.... this would certainly rule
out a COM port issue, and isolate the problem to the Rascal itself (either
defective or incorrect jumper setting)
