When a dupe is logged in N1MM or WL, is it counted or ignored? What would
happen if these programs tossed out or marked the previous contact as the
dupe instead of the most recent? If it was a dupe because someone didn't
complete the previous contact in their log, would the logs now have a better
chance of showing the same information if the previous call was actually the
one marked as the dupe?
Did any of that make any sense to anyone?
For me, if there's any chance that I may have not completed the call
earlier, especially if it's a multiplier or a DX I really need, I will try
again later. If he says DUPE, then I know I've got it good in my log. If
not, then I'm glad I tried again. I would have missed out on my first Alaska
yesterday if I didn't do it that way.
