With all of the contests that I have operated in, I have never set up
bands in Writelog.
Why do you think you need to?
On 40 meters, there are RTTY stations as low as 7020 depending on what
country they are in.
I don't know if this matters setting up your bands.

Subject: [WriteLog] question about RR band setups in Writelog
I'm setting up for RTTY ROUNDUP and again have this problem.
Is it normal for Writelog to show the entire band as being open for
rtty?
When I do a Bands>Show Band Setups, it shows that the entire band in 80,
40, 20, 15, and
10 as eligible for FSK.
For every contest, I must go and reset each band segment for the
'normal' band segment.
Doesn't matter what kind of contest, cw, ssb, or digital.
I'm sure I've damaged some file which has resulted in this problem as
I'm sure I didn't
have to go through this before.
And you can only make these changes if there are no qso's in the log.
So if you start a contest, forgetting to edit the band for the mode your
operating, it's
too late.
What did I screw up and how do I fix it?
Please and thank you. w9ol
