Bill's example is the way I answered a station that way he knows its me going
back to him.
When answering a station calling CQ I did it two ways de N9WVM N9WVM and if the
station has not answer me after two or three tries then I would send His call
de N9WVM N9WVM and it seamed that I would get answered more by sending his call
instead of just my call
Thats the way I have done it in the 2 or 3 RTTY contest I have worked in the
last year. Someone on this email list told me to set it up that way

It is just some redundancy which can be useful when several stations
are calling at the same time. If everybody just sends TU 599 123 123
and they are all transmitting at once it might be hard to figure out
who you are actually working, especially if they are all sending
different serial numbers. :-)
Good work, Claude!
