Which logging/RTTY program are you using? There are usually sample macros
people create and provide for others to use. As an example, with N1MM, you
can check out
http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=2 (drill into
each category).
At a high level, start and end each macro line with a space. I don't send
CR/LF at the end of the macro but I do at the start of what I send.
Typically for me (and this is all personal preference):
When I'm S&P:
{new line} mycall mycall {end}
{new line} hiscall exchange exchange mycall {end}
When I'm CQing:
{new line} CQ mycall mycall CQ {end}
{new line} hiscall exchange exchange hiscall {end}
{new line} hiscall TU mycall CQ {end}
