Well guys, that's what I thought EXCEPT I can switch to MMTTY and use the
SAME hardware and everything works fine.
The only thing different is the software.
I also switched to three different 40 meter antennas and did try different
power levels.
It is something weird in RTTYWrite, not the new version, I think it is 10.7.
I also added large Ferrite chocks to the serial line, keyer line, and the
ptt line. Still believing it might be RF.
But if that was true the same thing would happen with MMTTY, and it does
not.
Has me baffled

sounds like rf locking up keying circuit. Try reducing power. Good Luck,
