Unlike Sweeps, Roundup is a worldwide contest. No "clean sweep", mults are
state/province and dxcc entity instead of arrl section.

I enjoy the dynamic of the 24/30 hour format, contest within a contest and the
domestic nature of sweeps. There would be a nice symmetry to having a digital
counterpart to the CW and SSB legs, plus I think it could be exciting for the
PSK ops who are often running very modest stations. Heck, I once had a PSK QSO
with a trucker operating from his sleeper cab at a truckstop somewhere in the
midwest!

I have always considered the RTTY Round Up as the digital version of SS,
although with a much shorter exchange of course.

Not specifically related to 10m, but made me think again that I really wish
there was a Sweepstakes Digital contest. I accomplished most of my WAS from one
of my first sweepstakes participations. I like the operating time limitation
and the "contest within a contest", i.e. clean sweep, aspect to it.

10m was open nicely to much of the US and Canada for the Sweepstakes CW contest
last weekend. I think my QSO with NNY (where I live) was on 10m with a station
only 10 or 15 miles away.

I just got my 10m RTTY WAS certificate, #438. If that's the correct number
it's no wonder it took so long to get it, hard for everyone. This was by far the
most difficult out of 5 bands but it finishes off 5BWAS RTTY all LOTW.
