The 7300 is an amazing radio. I can run for hours on the same frequency,
including on 40, and not be bothered by the nearby stations.

I am presently using a first generation Icom IC-756 and in a crowded RTTY
situation it shows its age and vulnerabilities. Even with a 500Hz filter it
fails miserably in a pile-up on RTTY. I am considering one of the newer
Icoms and the only one near my price range is the new IC-7300. Is anyone
using one on RTTY and if so how does it perform when the bands get
crowded?
